My
name is
Christina Jordan,
and I have a dream.
Wouldn't it be cool if
your clicks
could help our ailing world at the same time as they
promote your online business?
Well, I believe they
can, and I guess you could say I'm out to prove it.
I'm really glad you've
stopped by, because I've been wanting to let you know who I am, what's
happening
at Internet4Change.com, and how you can participate.
(I really hope you will!)
That we are in
the midst of crisis is now well understood.
If you google my name
you'll find that I am an American work at home mom who has
lived in Uganda, East Africa for the past 10 years. During
that time, I've used the Internet in unusual ways to share
stories of hope and find resources for all kinds of small
initiatives to help people in need in Uganda.
The extreme imbalances
in our global systems have been evident to me for a long
time. I've been firmly convinced for many years that our
global economic system would collapse in my lifetime. But
I've also learned through my work online that new and
better global systems are emerging. Over the past 5
years in particular, I've witnessed and been part of some
amazing Better World Building initiatives online that
give me a lot of hope for our future.
With it's direct global
reach, the Internet offers ingenious and powerful new ways
to find and create all kinds of resources, and direct them
where they're most needed for making meaningful change
happen in the offline world. Groups of people like you and
me taking small actions together online can create a huge
impact offline - jumping over broken government systems, and
without it costing anybody a lot of money.
Believing that those
trends will continue, I foresee a whole new WE in a
whole new wwworld, where Yes We Can come together - and
click together - to make the kinds of change happen that
we ordinary people know the world needs.
Since I bought the
Internet4Change domain in late 2001, I have dreamed of a day
when more and more people who spend time online would be
building the kind of social change they believe in into
their online activities. With our whole world in crisis, and
more and more people turning to the Internet to create
sustainable incomes, I really think that day could be -
should be - now.
Internet4Change
launches with my modest hope to help you think about what
YOU can do in your online endeavors, to start making each
click count for more.
What is required
of us now is a new
era of responsibility
My dream for
Internet4Change.com is to develop a one-stop resource center
for two main groups of people online.
-
If you are one of
the many entrepreneurs trying to earn money online
through blogging, internet marketing, affiliate
sales, traffic exchanges, etc, there are wonderfully
simple and innovative ways out there right now for you
to help make an impact in the world, that can also help
your business. i4c will showcase and review some of
those opportnities, in an effort to help you think about
what you can do to become a changemaker through your
online business, and why it makes good business sense to
do so.
-
If (like me) you
are already one of many changemakers using the
Internet to raise awareness and funds for causes,
it's time to realize that charity donations are going to
be even harder to come by now than they were before the
global crisis. However, there are powerful alternative
sources of income available through the Internet, that
you and your supporters can tap into if you learn how.
i4c will showcase and review some of the possibilities
out there, in an effort to help you adjust your online
strategies to include non-charity based fundraising
tools that can help your causes.
It all comes together
in
My Internet4Change Shop. As 2009 begins, I'm first
launching My Internet4Change Shop with a section that's
targeted at the Traffic Exchanges.
The Traffic Exchanges
are quite literally a click-fuelled industry online, with
millions of dollars in annual revenues earned through
clicking and convincing other people to click.
Unfortunately, the Traffic Exchanges tend to suffer from a
general lack of meaningful content, a lot of hot-air
sounding hype, and a lot of competition for your email
address and your money. Behind the hype and all those
generic affiliate webpages, though, are some genuinely good
people.
As the world grows smaller,
our common humanity
shall reveal itself
One of the reasons I'm
actually starting i4c in the Traffic Exchanges is because I
see it as possibly the income earning industry online
today that can benefit the most from an injection of
Better World Building ideals.
That starts with
increasing transparency.
I don't want your email
address so I can send you advertisements, and I'm not hiding
information about anything that I'm selling. I want all of
us to figure out how this stuff works, so that we can make
it work better for our common good.
Though I'm certainly no
guru, I've done quite a bit of professional research in the
Traffic Exchange industry, and I've invested a lot in my own
learning. Listed in My Internet4Change Shop are what I've
found to be some of the most popular Traffic Exchange tools
and opportunities today. Some products and services are more
useful than others, some opportunities will suit your
personality better than others, and some will provide more
ways brand yourself as a changemaker than others.
The information I aim
to provide, both at My Internet4Change Shopfront and through
reviews posted to my
blog, is
intended to help you slow down and cut through the hype,
understand what the opportunities you come across in the
Traffic Exchanges mean, and plan knowledgeably how can they
work together for you.
Let me say right now
that apart from the information I share publicly, there is
nothing listed in the i4c shop that you can't find elsewhere
and buy from an anonymous stranger if you click for an hour
in the Traffic Exchanges. But my special offer when you buy
through the links at Internet4Change - and it's absolutely
NOT a one time offer - is a simple and unique opportunity
for YOU to make a meaningful impact in the world as you
build your click business in 2009.
I'm giving 60% of what
I earn from your business away this year, and you are
invited to help choose the causes and projects that will get
that money.
We can no
longer
afford indifference to the
suffering outside our borders
As I get ready to leave
Africa this year, I am also leaving an organization that I
founded called Life in
Africa. After years of raising funds online to support
our own community based activities to help people in Uganda,
the LiA I'm leaving in place now verifies and reports on
small community based organizations that do innovative work
to improve the lives of children, and helps them to get
online.
40% of all
Internet4Change earnings in 2009 will be donated to
Life in
Africa, to give as small grants to several projects in
Uganda. In late 2009, projects that Life in Africa has
verified will be invited to post proposals online. If you
have signed up for anything at all in My Internet4Change
Shop - free or paid - you'll be invited to vote in an
online poll to determine which projects receive the
Internet4Change grants in early 2010.
Another 20% of my total online
earnings in 2009 will be given away to organizations that YOU
get to nominate if you are a paid customer at
My Internet4Change Shop.
If you have become a paid-level member of my downline in any
program, I will invite you to begin nominating your favorite
causes during the summer. You'll have the opportunity to
tell others publicly WHY you've nominated that cause, and
include a link with your testimony that connects people to
you and your endeavors online.
The causes you nominate
must be able to accept 501(c)(3) tax-deductible donations, and
must have a presence online. They will NOT have to submit a
proposal for how they plan to use the money. The final four (4)
recipients will be chosen in a vote by all free and paid
Internet4Change customers before the end of the year. I will be sending donations to
those organizations in January 2010. Of course you will get
to examine the proof.
Along the way I'll be using
my traffic bonuses and a few other ideas up my sleeve to make sure that your
cause nominations and
testimonies will be making a prominent splash in the click
exchanges throughout the second half of this year. (Wow -
imagine how nice to have interesting content in the
traffic exchanges for a change!)

We reject as false
the choice between
our security and our ideals.
Imagine an upline sponsor who feels
guilty about keeping 40% of the money that recruiting you
brings in! That would be me - yes, I really am a do-gooder
at heart - I wish I could give everything I earn away. But
after 10 years as a volunteer and philanthropist in Africa,
I'm at a point now when my ideals and my financial
security need to establish a comfortable co-existence.
So yes, I'm keeping 40% of whatever
I manage to earn through Internet4change this year (through
the Traffic Exchanges and other neighborhoods on the
Internet where I'll be actively promoting.) I'm hoping
it can help to pay some of my university fees as I pursue a
PhD. More than anything, though, I'm looking to build a
sustainable source of online income that can help to support
worthy causes that need it.
I know that I won't
succeed in achieving my objectives unless my customers
succeed in achieving their objectives too. That's not just a matter of principle (though
it's a good principle) but it's how most online
opportunities in the Traffic Exchanges are actually designed
to work - I benefit when you join a program I'm selling, but
I benefit even more and for a longer time when you are able
to make it work for you too.
With that in mind, I'm prepared to
help you.

Please understand that I'm not talking about
yet another affiliate link that you need to promote or
anything else you need to buy or sign up for (though that
may come at Internet4Change later on). I'll be promoting my downline teams with my clicks, and
through
the other strategies I've got up my sleeve for developing
and launching Internet4Change shops in neighborhoods across the web this year.
If you decide to take me up on the
Grand Opening Bonus by joining any of the *starred programs*
as a paid member or upgrading by 25 March 2009, you'll also be able to
invite YOUR downline to vote when it's time to choose the
Internet4Change grant recipients later on this year. That's
an opportunity for you to publicly align yourself with the
social value Internet4Change has to offer, but don't
worry... I won't be asking you to give any of your
earnings away.
We gather because
we have chosen
hope over fear.
You don't ever pay anything
more by signing up for the tools and services featured at
Internet4Change than you'd pay anywhere else online. The
social value I'm adding to your free sign up or purchase is
yours to be a part of at no additional cost.
To recap - all YOU have to do is:
- Choose to sign up for any
one (1) free or paid Traffic Exchange related
opportunity at My Internet4Change Shop, and you can take
part in the end of year voting.
- Become a paid subscriber and
you'll not only have a vote but be invited to nominate
your causes to win.
- Purchase or become a paid
subscriber to selected services soon - before 25 March -
and you also get my help promoting your URLs for the
rest of the year.
Even if you don't buy anything today, be sure to bookmark
My Internet4Change Shop
and come back later.
Next time you're considering
a new investment in the Traffic Exchanges, take a quick
look to see if I'm selling it here, so you
can add that social value to your purchase and grab your Grand
Opening Bonus before it expires.
I look
forward to having you as a customer in my downline teams, to making an impact
in the world we can
all feel great about, and to helping you make each click count
for just a little more in 2009 and
beyond. I really think you'll be amazed at how much we can do if
we try... and I'm willing to try with all my heart.
Thanks so very much for reading.
Here's to all of us doing what we
can!
